Throughout my career, I have lived at length in a number of countries whose languages and cultures forged my path. In 2003, I obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Professional Language Studies from Leeds Metropolitan University, and in early 2008 I graduated from Cologne University of Applied Sciences (Germany) with a Master's degree in Specialised Translation (M.A. Fachuebersetzen) and immediately began working as a freelance translator.
Three years on, I returned to Cologne to take up conference interpreting (M.A. Konferenzdolmetschen) and add another range of top-level language services to my professional portfolio encompassing English, German, Italian and Spanish.
Flexibility, quality and a suitcase
I was born and raised in a German-speaking part of the Italian Alps, and the city of Cologne has now become my second home. Although most of my assignments are concentrated around South Tyrol (Alto Adige) in Italy and North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany, my suitcase is always close at hand and I will be delighted to accompany you on any venture that requires a professional interpreter.
